Cookies are small files a website writes to your browser. Browser storage, which holds your settings, works in a similar way. We use as few of them as possible.

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website and the account, for security, and to save your settings. Security services may process the technical information needed to detect automated abuse.

Your cookie choice

The risksensei.com website shows a consent banner (Cookiebot, a service by Usercentrics). When you make a choice, it is stored in your browser so you are not asked again on your next visit. This record is also needed so that we can demonstrate that your choice is respected.

You can change your choice at any time using the button at the bottom of this page.

Bot protection

Google reCAPTCHA and Firebase App Check are used to detect automated activity and abuse. These services process the technical information needed for the security check and may use cookies. On our site their purpose is to protect the application form and access to the application.

The application

The RiskSensei application itself runs at app.risksensei.com. Only browser storage necessary for sign-in, security, your settings and saving unfinished work is used there. The pilot application form is on the risksensei.com website (on the Pilot page) and requires no account.

What we use it for

We use browser storage and cookies for the following:

A note on the unfinished-assessment buffer. While an assessment is not closed or has not been saved to the server (for example, if the connection drops), its content stays in the browser. This is deliberate: otherwise unsaved work would be lost. Once the assessment is saved and closed, the buffer is cleared automatically.

If we start using analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent before enabling them, and it will be possible to withdraw that consent at any time.
